Vilnius/Riga/Tallinn – Nasdaq (NDAQ) announces that financial brokerage company OSUM Securities has become a new member of the exchange.
Membership enables the company to participate directly in securities trading and act as an arranger of securities offerings in the Baltic market. OSUM Securities’ involvement in exchange activities contributes to the development of the Baltic capital market and reflects the growing confidence of financial sector participants in the region’s capital markets.
"We welcome OSUM Securities to the Nasdaq Vilnius community. Every new exchange member strengthens market infrastructure, enhances competition, and contributes to the development of Lithuania’s capital market. We believe the company’s experience and expertise will create additional value for market participants," said Gediminas Varnas, President of Nasdaq Vilnius.
"Membership in Nasdaq exchanges allows us not only to expand the range of services we offer, but also to contribute directly to making public capital raising a more realistic and accessible option for Lithuanian companies. In addition, as part of the local investment ecosystem, we want to provide our investors with direct access to the investment opportunities available on the Nasdaq Baltic exchanges. We believe that the more active participants there are in the market, the more mature the entire Baltic capital market becomes," said Tadas Teresevičius, CEO of OSUM Securities.
