As of April 1, Evija Stūrmane will join the Management Board of AS INDEXO Banka, where she will be responsible for anti-money laundering (AML) and compliance matters. With E. Stūrmane joining the bank's management, Līga Katrīna Kļaviņa is stepping down from the Management Board of AS INDEXO Banka and will take over compliance matters at the pension management company IPAS Indexo. L. Kļaviņa will continue to serve as the Chairwoman of the Management Board of Indexo Atklātais Pensiju Fonds AS. 

Evija Stūrmane's candidacy for the position on the Management Board of INDEXO Banka has been approved by the Bank of Latvia and the INDEXO Banka council, and the changes have been registered with the Company Register. The Management Board of INDEXO Banka also includes Valdis Siksnis (chairman), Vladimirs Bolbats, Ieva Bauma, Gints Ozoliņš, and Ivita Asare. 

Evija Stūrmane is an experienced manager with more than 20 years of work experience in the financial sector and is a certified Anti Money Laundering specialist (CAMS). Since 2020, E. Stūrmane has held various senior positions related to anti-money laundering and the prevention of terrorism and proliferation financing at Swedbank, and before that, she gained significant management and business experience at Luminor and Citadele banks. 

Meanwhile, Līga Katrīna Kļaviņa will apply the experience gained during the establishment of INDEXO Bank to the INDEXO pension business. This aligns with INDEXO’s strategic focus on developing the 3rd pension pillar and expanding its client base.
