Punktid Technologies AS group's sales for December increased by 11% compared to December last year, the total sales being EUR 325,000
The sales of Punktid Technologies AS (hereinafter Punktid) in December 2022 amounted to a total of EUR 325,000, of which EUR 178,000 was the gross amount of the platform’s mediation service* and which, compared to December 2021, decreased by 8% (the gross amount of the mediation service in December 2021 was EUR 193,000). Sales increased on Punktid.lv, Punktid.com, Punktid.fi and Punktid.lt domains, respectively by 2%, 119%, 15% and 252%, and decreased on Punktid.ee and Punktid.ru domains, respectively by -18% and -46%.
“It is nice to see our expansion is working. Although we have more than doubled Punktid.com sales outside the Baltic states compared to last year and almost quadrupled sales in Finland, overall December retail sales decreased by 8% compared to December last year. The main reason for the decline is sales results on the Punktid.ee domain, where over EUR 25,000 less purchases were made compared to the same time last year. The reason, in our opinion, is the decrease in purchasing power of local people. The overall growth came from the increase in wholesale revenue, which brought December to the positive side and helped increase Punktid’s turnover by 11%,” commented Hannes Niid, a member of the management board of Punktid.

*The mediation service includes the online sale of digital codes for video games, Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox through the Punktid sales platform managed by Gamekeys OÜ, which belongs to the Punktid group, both in Estonia and abroad. The gross amount, also referred to as sales, means the money received from customers through the Punktid platform.
The information published in this announcement on the gross amount of mediation service is not reflected in the financial statements of Punktid as according to the Estonian Financial Reporting Standard (EFS), sales revenue from the mediation service is only the commission, but not the gross amount collected under agreements. Nevertheless, Punktid assesses its growth and success solely on the basis of sale by Gamekeys OÜ (i.e., the gross amount of the mediation service). Punktid will provide investors with an overview of sales results on a quarterly basis
