Edward Rebane has been confirmed as Chief Retail Commercial Officer and a member of the Management Board of Citadele by the European Central Bank
As previously announced, Edward Rebane was nominated as the new Chief Retail Commercial Officer and a member of Citadele’s Management Board, pending regulatory approval. On 10 December 2024, the ECB confirmation was received.
Edward Rebane, has in-depth understanding of banking sector, focusing on digital and retail banking solutions and customer experience. He has been working in banking sector for 14 years, starting his career in SEB Bank in Estonia in 2010. Throughout his tenure, he has held key leadership positions, most recently overseeing digital banking and retail sales across the Baltic region. Edward Rebane has pursued advanced studies at five universities, including University of Oxford and the Estonian Business School. His deep expertise in strategic planning and customer-focused solutions makes him an ideal fit to lead Citadele Retail division and drive our next phase of growth.
