AS “Mapon” (registration number: 40003800531, legal address: Ojāra Vācieša iela 6B, Rīga, Latvia) (the “Company”) hereby informs about changes in the Management Board of the Company.
It has been mutually agreed that Chief Financial Officer Aleksei Avanessov will step down from his role as Chief Financial Officer, effective January 16, 2026. He will also step down from his position as a member of the Management Board. The remaining members of the Management Board will continue to carry out its functions.
Aleksei joined the Company as CFO in 2020 and as a Board member in 2022. He has played a key role during a period of rapid growth and geographic expansion. Under his leadership, the Company has nearly quadrupled its consolidated revenue and completed six M&A transactions in Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, and Lithuania - markets which now represent a significant share of the total revenue. Equally importantly, he led a successful corporate bond issuance, now listed on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange, and oversaw the Company’s transition to IFRS reporting. He also built a strong finance organisation within Mapon, which continues to support the Company’s strategic ambitions and sustainable growth.
“The Board is very grateful for Aleksei’s strategic contributions, which extended well beyond traditional CFO responsibilities, and the strong foundation he leaves behind,” said Dāvis Siksnāns, CEO of AS Mapon. “He has been a valuable addition to our leadership team, and we respect his decision to pursue new opportunities.”
The Board has initiated a search process for a successor and anticipates appointing a new CFO during the first quarter of 2026.
