IT - INET Nordic and Baltic - Enhancements to Nasdaq Nordic Pre-trade Risk Management Service (35/24)
Nasdaq Stockholm will introduce enhancements to the Nasdaq Nordic Pre-trade Risk Management (PRM) service.
Pre-trade risk management Administration Interface has been refreshed and a new PRM Administration Protocol is introduced. The new PRM Admin port is available for clients to connect their own applications for management of their PRM Accounts.
The new PRM API is available in NTF as of June 3, 2024 and the production go live date is August 20, 2024
The current PRM risk checks included in the Nasdaq Nordic PRM Service will remain unchanged.
In addition, some new features will be added to the service such as Enhanced Block and Cancel orders functionality for PRM Accounts and additional PRM checks configurable through the PRM API.
Details on the new features can be found in the Nasdaq INET Nordic PRM Service Guide, available at the Nasdaq Pre-Trade Risk Management webpage.
Existing PRM accounts and settings will remain unchanged and there are no actions required on the client side in connection to the go-live of this enhancement.
The current operational procedures for clients not connecting via the PRM API continue to apply.
PRM API connectivity
Ports for the new PRM API can be ordered via the INET Nordic Port Request Form in Nasdaq Member Portal. The PRM API port is available in two options, Read-Only or Read/Write enabled.
INET Nordic Connectivity Guidelines are updated with the new PRM API Port connectivity details (IP address and port number ranges), and are available at Nasdaq European Market Connectivity webpage, under Connectivity Details, INET Nordic.
Protocol Specifications
The new Nasdaq Nordic PRM API protocol specification (PRM Protocol) is published on the INET Nordic Protocol Specifications webpage.
