The turnover of ELMO Rent short-term rental income increased 2.1 times in July compared to last year
The sales turnover of ELMO Rent in July was 80,918 euros. Of this, short-term rental income amounted to 79,148 euros, which is 2.1 times higher than in the same period of the previous year (37,219 euros in July 2021). The total sales turnover reported to the Nasdaq for the first time in July 2021 was 100,600 euros, which was 20% higher than today. The biggest part of the total sales turnover in July of last year was the tender contract (which expired in February 2022) for the operation of the vehicle fleet of a big customer (Eesti Energia AS) and also the revenue from the sale of the old vehicle fleet.
In comparison to the June result, the turnover of short-term rentals decreased by 0,3% in the last month (79,349 euros in June 2022 vs. 79,148 euros in July 2022), which is appropriate for the peak season and shows that the hectic general economic situation has not yet affected the car-sharing sector.
The number of registered new clients increased 2,6 times compared to the previous year (446 in June 2021, 1140 in June 2022) and increased 26% comparing to month before (906 in June 2022), which shows a growing need for the service.
With the sales turnover and the addition of new clients, ELMO Rent attaches equal importance to the CO2 emissions saved in the urban space by environmentally friendly cars. In July, ELMO Rent electric cars covered 368,818 km (350,650 km in June 2022), saving more than 44,996 kg CO2 (42,779 kg CO2 in June 2022) emissions.
