Decisions of the Shareholder's Meeting of Latvenergo ASRiga, 2025-01-17 15:00 CET --
On 16 January this year the Shareholder’s Meeting of Latvenergo AS was held, at which amendments to the Articles of Association of Latvenergo AS were approved: in order to strengthen corporate governance, the powers of the Supervisory Board of Latvenergo AS have been expanded with the obligation to supervise the development of the Group's structure. The amendments to the Articles of Association are related to the progress of the Group's targets regarding the development of new renewable energy capacities, which is being implemented, among other things, through the acquisition of capital companies. The new wording of the Articles of Association is available on the Latvenergo AS website in the section Investors / Corporate Governance / Governance Documents.
The meeting additionally reviewed the report of the Management Board of Latvenergo AS on the progress of the construction of DSE Aizpute Solar SIA solar power plant and Laflora Energy SIA wind power plant.
The holder of all Latvenergo AS capital shares is the Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Latvia, whose interests at the Shareholder's Meeting are represented by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economics or by his authorized representative. The decisions of the Shareholder's Meeting were adopted unanimously.
