Data News Nordic #2021 - 2: Nasdaq Announces Changes to European Data Pricing Effective January 1, 2022

What you need to know:
Effective January 1, 2022, Nasdaq will make fee adjustments of 1.9% to select European data products: Nordic & Baltic-Equity, Nordic Derivatives, Nordic Fixed Income and Commodities. At the same time Nasdaq will make changes to Administration fees, as well as publishing a new version of the European Exchange Data Price List. No fee changes will be applied to Private subscribers.
 

What fees are changing?
From January 1, 2022 Nasdaq will implement a fee adjustment of 1.9% to select Nordic & Baltic products, this change reflects the forecasted EU region HICP inflation rate for 2021. The detailed list of new prices can be found attached to this notice as well as on the European Data Pricing & Policies web page.

Nasdaq is updating the fee schedule for the following European data product categories:

• Internal Distributor
• External Distributor
• Display Business Subscriber
• Non-Display
• Derived Data
• Managed Data Solutions
• Index Calculation
• Reference Data
• End-of-day Data
• Technical Services

What is changing in the European Markets Data Price List?
From January 1, 2022 Nasdaq will introduce a simplified price list for exchange data products, making it clear how fee categories are applied based on categories of customers, usage type, and unit of count. The new price list will be available on the European Data Pricing & Policies web page prior to 1^st January 2022.
 

What are the changes to the Administration fees?

From January 1, 2022 the Nordic real-time administration fee will be merged with the internal- and external distribution fees. The delayed administration fee will be discontinued.
