The extraordinary meeting of the shareholders of joint-stock company Baltic International Bank (‘the Bank’) was held on 11 October 2016 where decisions on changes in the composition of the Bank’s Supervisory Board were adopted.
Joseph Cofer Black has been invited to join the existing members of the Bank’s Supervisory Board– Valērijs Belokoņs, Vlada Belokoņa, Andris Ozoliņš and Dr. Hans - Friedrich Von Ploetz – as of November 1, 2016.
Starting from 2005, Joseph Cofer Black is providing strategic guidance in business development to the leading companies of the USA and the world, using his extraordinary and wide experience in domestic and international markets.
Before focusing on work in private sector, Joseph Cofer Black has worked as Director of Counterterrorist Center of US Central Intelligence Agency (1999-2002), Ambassador, Coordinator for Counterterrorism of US Department of State (2002-2005). After finishing his carrier in governmental sector, Joseph Cofer Black was Vice Chairman of Blackwater Worldwide and Chairman of Total Intelligence Solutions (2005-2008), Raytheon/Blackbird Technologies, Inc. Vice President and senior advisor to Razors Edge investment fund (2009-2016). Since April 2016 he has been performing the duties of the CEO of Cofer International.
