Ēriks Gusevs joins the board of SIA CleanR Verso
CleanR Grupa JSC continues to strengthen the management team of industrial waste and construction debris management company “CleanR Verso” by appointing Ēriks Gusevs as Chairman of the Board, the company announced.
Ēriks Gusevs is an experienced manager with more than 15 years of experience in energy, engineering and infrastructure project management, also on an international level. He has filled the role of a leader for strategic projects, including hydroelectric power plant reconstruction projects in Latvia and abroad.
Ēriks Gusevs has professional background in leading large teams, also has proven his skills in financial and risk management area. Before joining “CleanR Verso”, he was a member of the board of SIA “Moduls Engineering”, where he was responsible for the strategic and financial management of the company. Before that, he managed several large infrastructure projects in SIA “VELVE” and other companies.
This year, CleanR Verso has made a significant modernization of the largest construction waste sorting and recycling center in Latvia, Nomales, by building a new recycling line that processes up to 25 tons of material per hour and allows for the reuse of up to 80% of recycled material. The center is equipped with the most powerful electric waste shredder in the Baltics, which significantly improves efficiency and reduces environmental impact.
In 2022, 38.4% of all waste in the European Union was construction waste, which means that construction waste recycling is a significant contribution to achieving the European Union’s goal of disposing of no more than 10% of the total amount of municipal waste in landfills by 2035.
