IT - Expansion of Nasdaq Vasby Co-location Data Center - New DH5 Area

Introducing Higher Density, Greater Flexibility, and Easy Migration

We are excited to announce that Nasdaq is expanding the Vasby Co-location data center with the launch of a brand-new data-hall (DH5), in February 2026. This development marks a significant enhancement to our infrastructure, offering customers increased capacity and flexibility to support ever-evolving business needs.

Introducing DH5

Located in the same facility as current DH1, DH5 is purpose-built to accommodate higher density cabinets, now supporting up to 20kVA per cabinet. This upgrade will allow customers to deploy more powerful equipment and optimize their data center footprint, meeting the demand of modern workloads and future growth.

In line with our longstanding commitment to fairness and equal treatment, Nasdaq will ensure that both the existing DH1 and the new DH5 offer identical access to meet-me rooms and exchange connectivity. This approach provides equalized connectivity for customers across Nasdaq’s co-location environments whether they be located in DH1, DH5, or both locations.

Customers can now contract additional power and choose to relocate cabinets, so they are contiguous.

Migration Benefits

For customers currently operating in DH1 who wish to migrate to DH5, we are pleased to offer a seamless migration path to DH5 during 2026. Nasdaq offers 1 month of overlap without double billing for migrated services to ensure a smooth transition and uninterrupted operations for migrated services.

DH5 Opening Timeline

Nasdaq expects to grant customers access to the new DH5 area in the beginning of February, with the exchange connectivity services going live March 2nd.

To guarantee availability and secure your preferred space and power allocation in DH5, customers can place cabinet orders starting today directly via the Customer Portal. Please note that orders will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

To ensure readiness for the exchange connectivity services go-live on March 2nd, 2026, customers should submit their connectivity orders by December 31st, 2025.

Timeline overview:

• September 5th 2025 – Nasdaq accepting orders for DH5 in Customer Portal
• December 31st 2025 – Last day ordering connectivity in DH5 for March 2nd go-live
• February 2nd 2026 – DH5 opens for customers access to install equipment
• March 2nd 2026 – Exchange connectivity go-live in DH5
