Skel fjárfestingafélag hf.: Routine Announcement Regarding Share Buybacks Pursuant to Buyback Program

During week 20 of 2026, Skel purchased 1,092,845 treasury shares for a total purchase price of ISK 17,952,784, as follows:

The purchases are made in accordance with the company’s share repurchase programme, implemented on the basis of the authorization granted at the Annual General Meeting of SKEL fjárfestingafélag hf. on 5 March 2026, cf. the company’s market announcement dated 28 April 2026. It is expected that the company will purchase treasury shares within the limits authorized by the Annual General Meeting, provided that the total amount of the repurchases does not exceed a predetermined maximum purchase amount. The repurchase programme will remain in effect until either of the above-mentioned limits regarding quantity or total amount has been reached, unless terminated earlier by decision of the company.

SKEL has now purchased a total of 1,759,266 treasury shares in the company for a total purchase price of ISK 28,883,784 and now holds a total of 1,759,266 treasury shares, corresponding to 0.094% of the company’s total share capital of 1,878,479,032 shares.

The execution of the share repurchase programme is carried out in accordance with the authorization of the Annual General Meeting, the Icelandic Public Limited Companies Act No. 2/1995, and the Act on Measures Against Market Abuse No. 60/2021, cf. Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council on market abuse and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1052 laying down regulatory technical standards for the conditions applicable to buy-back programmes.
