AS Virši-A expands geographical coverage on account of AS Daugavpils satiksme CNG bus refuelling contract
On 8 December 2021 AS VIRŠI-A has entered into an agreement with AS Daugavpils satiksme, as it was recognised as the winner in the procurement announced by AS Daugavpils satiksme for the refuelling of buses owned by AS Daugavpils satiksme with compressed natural gas (CNG) and supplying CNG. The contract foresees the delivery of CNG to at least 35 buses - approximately 80,000 kg per month, for 5 years.
In order to ensure strategically convenient access to the CNG infrastructure of AS Daugavpils satiksme, AS VIRŠI-A decided on the construction of a full-service filling station (including CNG) in Daugavpils, Kārklu iela 22. Construction work will start in the first half of 2022 and the station is scheduled to open in the second half of 2022.
The shares of AS Virši-A are admitted to trading on Nasdaq Baltic First North Market.
