CrossChem laboratory receives accreditation for AdBlue® testing

CrossChem, a Latvian manufacturer of chemical products, has received laboratory accreditation that meets the requirements of ISO 17025:2017. The laboratory is competent to perform analysis of AdBlue®, a harmful emission reduction solution. The accreditation enables CrossChem to offer a unique service in the Baltics, providing independent research and reliable results.

The accreditation of our laboratory brings many advantages for future work and also provides credibility to our customers by certifying that our products meet the required standards. In addition, this service will soon be available to our customers, who will be able to perform accurate testing and ensure the quality of their products more easily and quickly," says Richard Anderson, chairman of the CrossChem board.

The accreditation was approved and issued by the Latvian National Accreditation Bureau (LATAK).

Almost €350,000 was invested in the establishment and accreditation of the laboratory, which was operational in test mode from the end of 2022. The accreditation allows the laboratory to provide testing services of the highest quality to other stakeholders.

AdBlue® is designed for diesel engines equipped with a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system. It aims to clean the exhaust gases of machinery and reduce environmental pollution.
