On 09.02.2024, Mainor Ülemiste AS signed a purchase and sale agreement with Technopolis Baltic Holding OÜ to purchase all AS Technopolis Ülemiste shares belonging to the Holding. Following the transaction, Mainor Ülemiste acquires 51 percent of the shares of Technopolis Ülemiste and becomes the sole shareholder. Completion of the transaction requires the permission of the Estonian Competition Authority. The Management Board of Mainor Ülemiste AS remains composed of three members. Alongside Ursel Velve, who oversees Ülemiste City innovation, the board includes Sten Pärnits, who is responsible for real estate sales and administration, and Rauno Mätas, responsible for development projects. Mainor Ülemiste AS is a subsidiary of Mainor AS, whose main activity is the development of Ülemiste City, the largest business district in the Baltic States. 167,000 square meters of leasable office space has been built on the 30 hectares of the campus. Ülemiste City is home to nearly 500 companies and a work, study and living environment for 16,000 people. |
