The Audit Committee of JSC "Augstsprieguma tīkls" has been re-elected
At the shareholders’ meeting of JSC "Augstsprieguma tīkls" (AST) held on 14 May 2024, Inga Liepa as well as incumbent members of the committee – Roberts Ikaunieks and Aigars Ģērmanis were elected to the AST Audit Committee.
An open call for applications was held for the vacant post of Independent Audit Committee Member from 8 to 21 April 2024. Based on the results of the three selection rounds, which included an assessment of the relevance of education, qualifications and professional experience, as well as the proposal of the selection committee, Inga Liepa was selected to be a member of the Audit Committee.
Inga Liepa has 9 years of experience in project management in both the public and private sectors and more than 8 years of experience in the field of internal audit, including a broad understanding of the energy sector and the roles, responsibilities and regulatory framework of its operators. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from a BA School of Business and Finance and currently continuing professional master's studies in business management. I. Liepa has obtained the international Certified Internal Auditor certificate.
Inga Liepa and Roberts Ikaunieks were elected as independent members of the Audit Committee and Aigars Ģērmanis as a dependent member of the AST Board.
All three members of the Audit Committee have a term of office until 14 May 2027.
