2/25 Cessation of Service - Nasdaq Commodities Monthly Deferred Settlement Futures

 

Following Nasdaq's Service Withdrawal Notice for all commodities products published on 27 June 2025, Nasdaq Commodities have in joint agreement with the current position holders of all Monthly Deferred Settlement Futures contracts agreed to perform an early termination of all instrument series with open interest, in said products. Following this, combined with limited trading interest in said products and the ongoing migration project, Nasdaq Commodities have decided to suspend from trading and delist said products on 30 September 2025.

The following products will no longer be available for trading at Nasdaq Commodities:

Electricity Contracts

  • Belgian Power Monthly DS Future
  • Dutch Power Monthly DS Future
  • French Power Monthly DS Future
  • German Only Power Monthly DS Future
  • Italian Power Monthly DS Future
  • Spanish Power Monthly DS Future
  • UK Power Monthly DS Future

Natural Gas Contracts

  • Dutch TTF Natural Gas Monthly DS Future
  • French PEG Natural Gas Monthly DS Future
  • German THE Natural Gas Monthly DS Future
  • UK NBP Natural Gas Monthly DS Future

Nasdaq’s Commodities documentation will be updated on 1 October 2025 to reflect the changes to our offering. The changes are market in track changes in the following documents:

  • Joint Appendix 2 Contract Specs
  • Joint Appendix 3 Trading and Clearing Schedule
  • Trading Appendix 4 Trading procedures
  • Joint Appendix 7 Fee List
