ELMO Rent made a record revenue in August
In August, ELMO Rent recorded the highest monthly sales revenue in its eight-year history, ie 129.850 euros which is 2.2 times higher (59.030 euros) compared to the previous year. Compared to the previous month of July, the short-term rental income increased by an impressive 39%.
"The number of new customers increased by 37% compared to the previous month and more than doubled in May. There were days when the number of registered customers reached 30," said Julia Nekrassova, CEO of ELMO Rent.
“Part of this growth came from cooperation with Tammsaare Business Center where we launched a campaign targeting business customers. We plan to continue with this direction with other business centres over the coming months. We saw continuous growth also in our private customer base which confirms that ELMO Rent is an attractive market player despite the fierce competition in the vehicle distribution market and the customers increasingly prefer environment-friendly means of driving.”
"For us, the amount of CO2 emissions saved in the urban space by environmentally friendly cars is as important as positive revenue figures,” Nekrassova noted. "In August, ELMO Rent electric cars covered a total of 241,073 km - more than a quarter of a million kilometres. This marks a 23% increase compared to July and a remarkable 75% compared to May.”
In September, ELMO Rent plans to publish several important news. "First, our remote control technology is reaching a stage where we can start field testing. After this, the first test car will be taken out to the streets of Paldiski and we have received a favourable response for this from the Lääne-Harju rural municipal government. But before that, during the International Electric Car Day celebrated already this Thursday, we will be launching a new and unique service which will definitely be used diligently by both our current and new customers and thus increase the value of ELMO Rent’s share in the eyes of investors," said Julia Nekrassova, CEO of ELMO Rent.
