Punktid Technologies AS group's sales results for August were EUR 179,000
The sales of Punktid Technologies AS (hereinafter Punktid) in August 2022 amounted to a total of EUR 179,000, of which EUR 111,000 were the gross amount of the platform’s mediation service* and which, compared to August 2021, decreased by 5% (the gross amount of mediation service in August 2021 was EUR 117,000). Sales increased on Punktid.com, Punktid.lt, Punktid.ru and Punktid.fi. The turnover of Punktid.lv and Punktid.ee decreased, of which the biggest decrease was the sales of Punktid.lv, decreasing by EUR 2,449 compared to August 2021.
“Compared to July, August showed a good increase in turnover, which means that consumers are ending their summer activities and returning to gaming hobbies (EUR 111,000 in August vs. EUR 101,000 in July sales results). It is very positive that the size of the average purchase in August of this year was 12.4% higher compared to August of last year.
We visited the Gamescom trade fair, where we met a lot of new and old cooperation partners. Even though the entire fair was postponed to the last minute and it was the first such physical event after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was great to see several big and new businesses.
We are moving forward according to plan in all stages of marketing, IT development and team expansion:

Marketing activities in August focused on ending the summer campaigns and increasing brand recognition. 75% of the traffic on the Punktid website came organically and is in a growing trend. This shows that the Punktid brand is becoming more and more reliable for the growing consumer segment, and the demand for our products is in a growing trend.

In IT, we continued developing the new system in August. In the still existing system, we focused on only one activity: activities supporting marketing and managing reports on users. In August, 651 new customers joined us.

In order to expand the team, this year we planned to recruit 5 more people – both in IT systems development, marketing and finance. During the first half of the year, we recruited 3 people,” commented Hannes Niid, a member of the management board of Punktid.

The numbers in the table have been rounded to the nearest thousand euros. The figures in the table are not yet final (i.e., these may change slightly) as August of 2022 has not yet been closed in accounting.
*The mediation service includes the online sale of digital codes for video games, Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox through the Punktid sales platorm managed by Gamekeys OÜ, which belongs to the Punktid group, both in Estonia and abroad. The gross amount, also referred to as sales, means the money received from customers through the Punktid platform.
The information published in this announcement on the gross amount of mediation service is not reflected in the financial statements of Punktid as according to the Estonian Financial Reporting Standard (EFS), sales revenue from the mediation service is only the commission, but not the gross amount collected under agreements. Nevertheless, Punktid assesses its growth and success solely on the basis of sale by Gamekeys OÜ (i.e., the gross amount of the mediation service). Punktid will provide investors with an overview of sales results on a quarterly basis and a more comprehensive overview every quarter.
