On the Management Board of Latvijas vēja parki SIA

Riga, 2024-05-09 15:45 CEST -- Accepting new professional challenges, Baiba Zauere, the current Member of the Management Board of Latvijas vēja parki SIA (LVP), has ceased to perform her duties and from 9 May this year will start to perform the duties of Member of the Management Board in another company. Jānis Urtāns, Chairman of the Management Board of LVP, will continue to act as the sole Member of the Management Board. Accordingly, the LVP Members’ Meeting has amended the LVP Articles of Association by reducing the number of members of the Management Board to one.

Latvijas vēja parki SIA, 100% owned by Latvenergo AS, was established on 22 July 2022 to contribute to Latvia’s progress towards energy independence and climate neutrality. The main objective of LVP is to ensure sustainable electricity generation by developing wind farms with a capacity of up to 800 MW on Latvian state-owned forest land.
