On Base Prospectus of Third Programme for the issuance of the notes in the amount of up to 75 million EUR and the coming issuance of the notes

On 21 September 2021, The Financial and Capital Market Commission has registered the Base Prospectus of the Third Programme for the Issuance of Notes of Attīstības finanšu institūcija Altum AS (ALTUM) (please see attached). The total amount of the programme in nominal value is 75 million euro.

ALTUM Chairman of the Management Board Reinis Bērziņš: “As we continue to raise funding in the capital markets, we are preparing for the next bond issue programme [in the amount] of EUR 75 million. The new programme will consist of several bond issues and, like the previous four, will ensure diversification of our funding sources, while promoting the development of the Baltic capital market.” 

ALTUM has mandated Luminor Bank AS as a Sole Lead Manager and Bookrunner to organise the global investor call as well as several online investor meetings. Subject to market conditions ALTUM is contemplating to issue the notes up to 20 million euro with 7-year maturity. Notes are expected to be listed on the regulated market - the Baltic Bond List of Nasdaq Riga. 

According to the credit opinion issued by international rating agency Moody’s in August 2021, ALTUM had Baa1 long-term issuer rating with stable outlook.

JSC Development Finance Institution Altum is a Latvia state-owned company that ensures access of the enterprises and households to the financial resources by means of support financial instruments - loans, guarantees, investments in venture capital funds - in the areas defined as important and to be supported by the state, thus developing the national economy and enhancing mobilization of the private capital and financial resources. On 25 March 2019 Moody’s Investors Service (Moody’s) reconfirmed Altum’s Baa1 long-term issuer rating, with outlook stable. The baseline credit assessment (BCA) was upgraded to investment grade rating baa3. The assigned Moody’s rating of Altum is one of the highest credit ratings assigned to corporate entities in Latvia. On 24 October 2017 the bonds issued by Altum were listed on a regulated market – Baltic Bond List of Nasdaq Riga.
